RE: headshells

The Technics headshell is angled up by 0.63 degrees and the arm height reference is calibrated to accommodate this.
The Sumiko is designed to be "flat" i.e no tilt. However, the plug mounting axis shifts the cartridge up by 3.15mm. Just by switching to this headshell will give you an extra 1.3 degrees on the SRA without physically changing the arm height. Every headshell brand (apart from OEM designs which are rebranded) I've measured up is slightly different in the reference mounting axis.
I've mentioned this a few times on the forum, but no seems to have paid attention, or didn't understand it...
