RE: Technics 1200MK2 for home/audiophile use?

You should just flip it as you planned. There could be so many things unknown about a DJ tables it could be a hole to pour money in. Even new they still need a lot of work to really work well IMO. Check out the Orbit U Turn just google you get a new table with cartridge and set up is easy and you are good to go!
