replace the bearing and arm. This is very easy to do, especially the bearing. The arm you may want to have someone replace it for you depending on your soldering ability. Check out the link below. You should get the tonearm damper he sells as well as replace the arm with one that is rewired with better OFC wire.
The stock table is great. They are built like a tank and it probably survived the DJ abuse just fine but replacing the bearing and the arm fixes most wear and tear found from the dj lifestyle. There are a lot of tweaks and upgrades out there that take this table to really exceptional heights. You can't find a better sounding and more durable table. There are of course better sounding ones out there but none are as durable.
Unless you want to spend a couple grand you would be hard pressed to find a better new table.
