Unless it has been damaged or is not in proper as manufactured operating condition, it will work exactly as sold and will have ZERO pitch and speed stability issues. It's a quartz locked, direct drive tables. Turntables of this design if in proper condition are the most pitch and speed stable turntables ever made.
As for this audiophile gobbly gook, if it sounds good to you in your system then that is all that matters. ENJOY YOUR NEW TOY!
