RE: Jimmy Smith, Bro Jack McDuff

Baltimore loves jazz/soul organ. I've come across a lot of records from Jimmy Smith and his ilk - by that I mean B3 jazz, not foul-mouthed, cantankerous musicians. After 25 years, I have yet to find one that wasn't dirty, scratched and played to death. I've found clean, even pristine titles from the Beatles, Led Zep. Pink Floyd and Stones but have yet to pull a LP from Jimmy, Jack, Joey, Groove Holmes or McGriff that I'd consider taking home, much less playing.
