Another favorite of mine is a custom AR XB built by a very good friend of mine. This is a retromod where the outside looks orignal with the mods done underneath. The tonearm tube is a Technics SL1200 so swapping headshell/cartridge is much easier.

I am using an AT-MONO3/LP moving coil mono, an AT-440ML/OCC moving magnet which is a predecessor to the AT-440MLa, and a Denon DL-DL110 moving coil.
