It's almost axiomatic that any 30-year-old DD turntable still in "original condition" needs all new electrolytic capacitors. The good news is that you can surely buy all you need for under $25, from Mouser, Digikey, Newark, etc. If you're handy with a soldering iron, it's not a problem. Also, verify that yours is a 120V model, not 100V (standard in half of Japan).
