This isn't about comparing master tapes to vinyl. It's strictly about the concerns of digitally sourced vinyl. So the idea is to start with an analog tap source and cut two sides to vinyl from that source. One side is all analog the other cut from a 24/96 copy of the analog tape. So the only variable is the 24/96 A/D D/A conversion.
