I always thought that the Monty Python album was indeed double grooved for the whole of one side, but played "normally" i.e. from the outer edge inward, with two "concentric" grooves. The one which played was dependent on which groove the stylus hit first.
The jack White album does have two starts on one side (Side two), for the track Just one Drink, but this is only for the intro to that song.
The Inside to outside thing is for all tracks on Side 1, which is not double grooved.
