I don't know of anyone who has used a cable other than the orignal Linn one. The arm has a form of DIN connector but I do not know if standard right angle ones fit. My memory says no but I could be wrong and other inmates may help on this. Otherwise your choice is limited to a straight replacement should the one you have be damaged.

I don't knonw if you are familiar with how the turntable and arm need to be set up with regard to the suspension and how the arm cable has to be rigged to correctly exit the plinth without mechanically short circuiting it. If not then I would advise going to Vinyl Engine and downloading the manuals that you will find there.
