I have an HRX and an AT ART7 which has the same body as your 9. I initially tried to set it up with a Dennisen Soundtractor, which uses a very similar pivot pointer-on-a-beam connected to the spindle system. On my VPI JMW 3D arm, I had to remove the lemo connecter and move the wire so that I could get unfettered arm movement with the 'tractor's pivot point in place I also had to avoid burying the point in the hole on top of the arm's bearing housing for the same reason. You might want to do both these things. You may also find that you have to twist the cartridge significantly counterclockwise as viewed from the front in order to align the cantilever properly. I asked VPI about this, and HW himself explained that the abnormally long distance between the stylus tip and the mounting screw holes made that necessary. Hope this helps. Regards, zach
