It was a good-old-fashioned, pre-Internet type deal.
We spoke on the phone at length, he trusted me, sent a 2/3 deposit and then drove up from Virginia (I am in CT) a month later to pick it up. He didn't want to risk shipping it, which was fine by me.
He'd wanted one since they had first come out and the look on his face when he saw it was priceless.
Sorry it sold before you saw it. You weren't the only one ...I lost track, but think I could have sold 6 or 7 of them.
I'll look for more.
