I was going to update the Audio Technica OC9III about a YEAR from now.
In my system, a great cart for the money.

Now playing-the $50 Ortofon OM50 emergency cart.
Sounds like a blanket is over the speakers. No more musicians in the room.
That one second of carelessness with a cleaning cloth on the plinth.
Should have ignored the fingerprints and smudges!

Having tried a couple of 1k carts in the past-Benz Glider,Sumiko Blackbird,the OC9 was quite the bargain at HALF the cost.

Immediately thought, just get another OC9III. But...
The ART 9 has been on my list, albeit a YEAR from now. Guess I have an excuse now to hit the "buy now" button.

Coming soon-Stereophile mag worthy pic and gushing about amazing dynamics,
beautiful mids/highs and visceral bass! At least I hope.
