I have found that placing white flour waffles under may Nottingham Spacedeck produces a sound that is a bit light. There is noticeable more graininess with whole wheat waffles, and buttermilk introduces more sour notes. Buckwheat offers and overall pleasing density to the presentation. While I have just started additional research on the matter, preliminary results suggest that the quantity dense maple syrup has a corresponding impact similar to adjusting the amount of damping fluid around the tonearm bearing. Next up, a look and listen at various fruits and nuts. Nuts? That's why it is called an asylum.
