I've been back and forth to Europe this year and last, and presently on an extended stay. We are based in Strasbourg and traveling around quite a bit. I make it a point to stop in record shops all over the world, as it gives me somewhere to walk to, and opens up all sorts of "off the beaten path" areas and sights. After a few weeks I'd found nothing.
Well Yesterday I walked by the Kleber Place market (as I do nearly every day I'm in town) and saw a box of records at a stall that normally only sells books.
I found the following. Graded - Vinyl/Cover
The Ash Ra Temple - EX/VG $20 The chance of finding an original of this anywhere in the USA for a reasonable price is impossible. Felt pretty lucky to get that one.
VU- Max's KC UK Atlantic EX+/EX $10. I have a Cotillion in decent shape, but couldn't pass this up.
Floyd- Umma Gumma. French Pathe EMI Harvest EX+/EX $20.
Floyd- Piper. EX/EX A French Pathe Columbia version for $20, probably overpaid, but my Tower copy is beat.
And finally at a shop called 33 and Co, which from the outside it looks like a head shop, I picked up
The Heep Salisbury EX+/EX pink rimmed Island for $8.
