Yes, lots of beautiful passages but I guess I'm just not a Brahms fan. In fact in my mind I wonder how he became identified as the Third B?
Yes I realize he wrote a large and varied number of compositions but as a somewhat unsophisticated classical listener I focus on symphonic works. And none of Brahms' symphonies leave me wanting to hear them again.
Does that place me in the "jaded" group?
