IF I decide to pursue this I think I will go with the Gallo speed control. The chips are all still available, as is the modular amplifier. The exact toroidal's aren't but they are just transformers, common voltages at that.
It looks simple, I may check with Gallo.
Perhaps an update for an Audioexpress article?
I think we all agree that certainly would be helpful to the present publication slump that periodical has been in since Dell's leadership left. I'm not being mean or unreasonably critical ... it's just that ... well ... look back through Audio Amateur issues... What a truly superb DIY audio magazine that was!!
