unless you have a rock steady hand. With the small field of view, it is also difficult to grasp moving the loupe in the opposite direction from what you are used to doing. It is like turning the car steering wheel to the right and having the car turn left. I would think your 30X loupe would be much easier. Of course, this power is only good for observing gross damage or the cleanliness of the stylus. It would certainly tell you if your stylus cleaning method is really working.
