I purchase mostly used lps from a few, to many a week, mostly for $1-$3 apiece. I was in Newberry Comics last week and saw a wonderful selection of new and newly reissued lps. The new lps range from $17.99 to $79.99 for albums with multiple lps , most were about $29.99 to $34.99 and way more for boxed sets. I know the sale of lps has been rising over the past several years, but really at $29.99 a shot? I get much more pleasure from the purchase of many $1 lps than buying 1 or possibly 2 for $30-$50. I splurge once in a while for a Music Matters Blue Note release but there cannot be that many splurgers to increase the sale of vinyl especially of overpriced new and reissued lps. Cheers, Chet
