Looking for some opinions.

I currently have Music Hall mmf-5 with Goldring 1012gx cartridge. I am thinking of upgrading to VPI Classic 1. I heard the Classic 1 at a local dealer and was very impressed. Needless to say I can't try it in my system. Do you think I will notice a big difference swapping out tables?

Also the dealer mostly has Ortofon cartridges. Any thoughts on a good match?

I will readily admit to no specific reason other than an upgrade bug for making the change.
