RE: Direct drives are getting pretty expensive now

One reason I decided NOT to sell my DP80 is the ridiculously low value placed on them, at least in the USA. After I completely renovated mine, including new capacitors, new transistors, and a new chip, and in mint condition cosmetically, I could not get more than $1000 for it. That's the "bargain of the century" that I am not going to make. I like looking at it, even though I don't now use it.

For what they are and considering you get a fine tonearm along with the tt, I believe the Kenwood L07D is also very undervalued.
