A 1:10 voltage ratio step up transformer would give 5mv output but would have a 1:100 impedance ratio.
For the cartridge to see a 47k ohm load, the secondary of the transformer would have to be loaded with a 4.7meg ohm resistor.
I don't know of any transformers made for that.
The inductance of the Statement 1 is in the range of a low output moving coil cartridge (and the resistance is ever lower) so I see no reason it can't be loaded like one.
I would try a normal 1:10 step up transformer connected to the normal 47k ohm phono pre input impedance that would reflect 470 ohms as the load for the cartridge and see how it sounds.
