Nice table & arm! I actually have an entry level Nagaoka that I got used and have never listened to. I wonder how that compares to my Ortofon M20E?
The old Technics is several classes below your setup. But you give me hope for the Lounge Lizard or whatever it is. Very encouraging feedback!
H'mmm. Looking at the website now. Op-amp based. I've heard some good chip amps lately but still have a bias towards discrete components. How is the midrange on yours?
Perhaps more importantly, how is the bass? The last time I gave her gear it was an old McIntosh SS amp that she managed to destroy by playing it bass-maxxed at top volume.
