they are known for hum. do you have a carbon or an aluminum arm? Make sure the arm ground is intact and connected at the cartridge end t the wand. I am not certain which table you have. mine uses a AC synchronous permanent magnet motor connected directly to 120, no wall warts. Does the hum increase when you turn the motor on? Are you using unshielded cables? If so try shielded, with the shield only connected at one end. Try them connected both ways, shield connection at the preamp, and also shield connection at the turntable. See which one works better. Sometimes a separate ground wire can help, or make things worse :). i usually connect one at the turntable end and start touching grounds at various points with the other end. end up connect it to the piece that gives the least hum. or not using it at all if that is better. Different cartridges may force you to different grounding solutions.
Hum can be a bit annoying, and may not even come from the table itself
