RE: Tonearm Resonant Frequency - Quite Low

If you use regular cartridge screws they will still weigh at least a gram, which would be a total mass of 17.3-grams instead of 22.6-grams. This would raise the system resonance by only 1-Hz from 7.1-Hz to 8.1-Hz. I don't see how that could affect bass response to any great extent. However, I always recommend using the configuration that sounds best to you as long as you are not experiencing any mistracking, which would cause record damage.
