Today I paid $12 for two Santana LPs (Caravanserai & Love,Devotion, Surrender) at a local shop. I paid about that much each, including shipping, for Journey Escape and Aerosmiths Get Your Wings. These are all original pressings in excellent or better condition.
On the other hand I paid about $6.00 each CDs of The Eagles Hell Freezes Over (like new) and a new Journey Live In Houston 1981.
I take free downloads of stuff I can't buy and sometimes it's high resolution.
Because I held onto my existing collection as technology advanced I am paying less for music these days than ever before. And FWIW there's not much chance I'm going to be dumping vinyl or CDs soon.
