Sinus problems & Hearing Loss Here

I'm 67 and I used to get 3 to 4 sinus infections a year and I have tinnitus in my left ear. The sinus infections finally got solved when the doctor treating me felt I might have an allergy problem causing my sinus issues.

He recommended an allergist and the Allergy doctor proclaimed me as one of the worst allergy cases she had seen in years. It turned out I was allergic to everything except my wife.

Three years of intensive allergy shots (now I'm on a maintenance level, two shots every three weeks vs. two shots twice a week) and no sinus infections for the last two years.

I developed tinnitus from a doctor feeling a stent type of device in my ear would solve a hearing problem. Not only did that not work, but after I woke up from the surgery I had tinnitus as a gift (24/7 constant hissing in that ear) and I still needed a hearing aid.

I love my music too much not to play it constantly, Vinyl, CD's, and terabytes of 192k/24bit music I converted to external drives. It is one the most relaxing things left.

As someone said hang in there. Just remember getting old is not for the faint of heart.
