I'm using a Ken Willis Accutrak,(a set of two) protractor that's customized to work with Audioquest tonearms. According to The Vinyl Engine website, the mounting distance for the PT6 that I own is 211mm. However, the mounting distance on the first protractor says 210mm where there are three alignment arc choices - Baerwald, Stevenson, and Lofgren. The second protractor has four alignments which are labeled B211, B211.3, B211.5 and L211.3 respectively. I am using the Bearwald method. Which mounting distance
will yield the least tracking error and distortion? I can achieve an alignment with either the 210mm or 211mm Baerwald but the cartridge overhang obviously changes in each case which changes the effective length. How critical is this?
