Unlistenable side 1 (13S) hugely noisy with tons of adjacent groove echo, but the rest pretty good, even the 18S side 4. Some lovely singing, and I enjoy Toscanini's fast tempi... though there are parts where he slows **way** down.
And the others in the stack to put away:
Basie Farmers Market 45rpm
Shchedrin Carmen Ballet
Ray Bryant Solo Flight
Rubber Soul (from recent mono remastering)
La Traviata with Moffo, Tucker, Merrill
Lohengrin with Steber, Windgassen, Varnay, Uhde (Bayreuth '53)
Heart Dreamboat Annie
Stevie Wonder Fulfillingness
... and listened to most of the Met broadcast yesterday. It's been a good music weekend.
