I've always heard that among other things, stylus life is based on the stylus type. In other words, some stylus types can last a lot longer then others. Can anyone comment on the below list of stylus types and their expected life expectancy? Not sure where I picked up this info but any comments would be appreciated since I have a Micro Line stylus with
a little over 1,500 hours on it.
Conical <700 hrs
Elliptical 1500+ hrs
Micro Line, Ridge 2000 - 2500 hrs
VdH, Shibata, FG 2500 - 3500 hrs
