I have collected ESP Disk records for 30 years. But a few titles in the first 100 have eluded me, including this Henry Grimes LP (as well as Lowell Davidson). I'd never seen a copy in a store, and for the past 10 years or so was convinced it would have to come via ebay. So I tried my luck bidding and was outbid on at least 20 different auctions. Last week I bid and won a copy for under 50 bucks. And of course the very next day I find a copy at a record store in Paris for $60 euro. I bought the Paris copy (NM- ) because I am out of town and haven't seen the ebay more than likely grossly-inflated-graded copy. So now I have 2.
