Listened to the first two sides last evening. The vinyl is great quality, flat, silent, and I have no complains about the sound.

As for the music, well being a big PF fan I can't say I regret getting it but I can certainly understand the lack of enthusiasm expressed by many.

I thought side 1 was interesting, yet it resembled a prelude/introduction to a main section that simply didn't materialize ... perhaps it can be located somewhere further down the river?

Side 2 seemed like an exercise in recapturing the sound/atmosphere from the live material on Ummagumma, but ultimately came up short.
