When I think of turntables, here are two examples of prototypical models that come to mind.
The first is a classical Denon table, which certainly dates me and my perspective. But this is just how, in my head, a turntable should look.
The second is a classical Thorens, but with what strikes me as the quintessential tonearm, an old SME.
