WTF (Which Turntable Friday)

I'm changing the format a little here. You still get your table for free, but the choice is not restricted to two tables.

The scenario: You're on a desert island, and like the folks on Gilligans Island, you have an amazing amount of stuff for someone who was just going out on a three hour tour.

Including all of your records.

What you don't have is an endless supply of turntables. In fact, all you have is one. And when it breaks, you're done. No more vinyl listening.

So, you have to choose a table based on longevity. Which table do you want that you think is going to give you consistent, reliable performance for the rest of our life? And, if you choose a belt drive, you can only have one spare belt. That's it.

For me, I'm going with my Yamaha GT-2000. It's so overbuilt and no one to the best of my knowledge has ever suggested on any forum that it has a reliability issue.
"Hope is a good thing. Maybe, the best of things. And no good thing ever dies."
