RE: Blood Sweat & Tears and another

Also have that first Blood Sweat and Tears - mine a late issue on Columbia. (It has good sound, btw.)

I like that there are so many people playing on the record - piano, organ, horns, more - even a string ensemble and a *soul chorus* (two backup singers).

Since you like BS&T, you might also like *The Jukes* Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes on Mercury Records (1979). If you don't know them, they are a large group - ten players and Southside Johnny - with horns. Recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio.
