just got over killing a Grado Black trying to place ferro fluid on the coils so i am gun shy about going anywhere near the coils on this 95.
The magnet was an Idea Stu gave me. Take a refridgerator magnet and I use a hole puncher to get a small cicular piece. I let it draw itself and orient, pole wise, then i just leave it unless adding this mu metal or something else like copper tape. then i glue it. easy.
i ran super gl;ue at the edge of the plastic to damp it and added a brass plate on top. i am sure the body is well damped - enough for safety's sake.
no test report forthcoming. uninterested. it either sounds different/better or it doesn't, and with that i am satisfied.
