Best vinyl issue of Charlie Parker with Strings

Greetings.
I'm looking at buying Charlie Parker with Strings on vinyl and like to know any views you may have as to the best pressing.
I'd really love some lush string sound and some reedy sounding sax. I can never listen to the high 'screeching' harsh texture of some 50's pressing and wonder if this true of the later pressings too. May be the early pressing sounds great - I don't know.
Has anyone got the mono or stereo version or 50's pressing versus later pressings?
