Hi everyone. I recently purchased what appears to be a very nice Aiwa AP-2200 but I have discovered two issues and I'm hoping someone can give some advice. First, the bearings that controls vertical motion (I don't know the proper name for it, but it is in the photo--a needle-type screw on each end)was loose and I've only been able to make it worse by messing with it. Nothing appears damaged, but I cannot get both of the screws snug without the mechanism either binding or being too lose. Is there a good way to approach this adjustment?
Less concerning is the up/down lever on the front does not work. This could be something that jarred loose during shipping or maybe just a cleaning issue, but maybe someone has thoughts?
Thanks for any help. Really hoping to listen to some vinyl this weekend!
Dan
