I've no experience with the SAS on a V15, but I replaced the OEM stylus on my M97xE with a JICO SAS and am very pleased with the results. Kind of turns the M97 into a different cartridge that's a step over and above the OEM version.
One caveat - the damping brush that comes with the JICO isn't as good as the Shure version. The JICO brush is a little loose and sloppy, so if you intend to make use of the damping feature (I don't) there's a thread over on the Vinyl Engine site that provides instructions on how to improve the SAS brush.
I never noticed any pronounced HF peak when listening to my M97/SAS, but my hearing isn't the best over 12kHz, so for me it's really a moot point.
Cheers,
Al
