Yes, I feel the 5751 changed the overall presentation of the music enough to be noticeable, a big bloom in midrange but less punch in the highs and lows to my ears. It was just an experiment. I have a single Mullard 12AX7 but would prefer to use a matched pair. I have one more pair of AX7's to try.
