No. It is not a Linn. The turntable was built to a price point designed for mass sales in the early 1970s. Thorens went to great lengths to take the difficulty out of setting up a cartridge for overhang and vta by means of the jig and pack of shims that was supplied with each turntable sold. They wanted to make it as "consumer friendly" as they could.
