There is a "sled" within the headshell that will slide fore and aft a short ways. It is also possible to rotate the sled enough to correct for offset angles as is needed.It is possible that the "sled" in your TP60 (that's the headshell you have)has become slightly stuck in place. You may have to carefully apply some force to it to free up its motion.
Other advice; always mount/dismount cartridges with the headshell removed from the arm tube.
