I have swapped in a pair of unbranded ECC83 tubes for the stock 12AX7's. The sound is a bit cleaner and crisper to my ears, with better upper midrange. I like it so far. I had previously tied a pair of Sovtec 5751 which sounded very "nice" , but a bit too veiled and too polite, if you will.
