Usually 3 or 5 v with a couple Amps. It is no big deal to multiply to provide B+ but it is not the easiest solution if you do not need the low voltage supply, it is much easier to to build a linear supply with the voltage needed. If you have to use a voltage multiplier, you almost loose all the advantages of a battery supply :)
