As Penguin inferred, you must have one humongous battery supply. I use a Silvaweld SWH550. It has an outboard PS consisting of the transformer, tube rectifier, and choke input filter. The voltage regulation is all on the main audio chassis, as well it should be. If your battery supply can deliver about 300VDC at around 50mA and maybe 2-3A at 6V, you could replace the outboard unit with it. A rugged car battery with charger could indeed service the filaments.
