Thanks for your reply :) I went for the OLC first time around for the same reason you said at the end - I was taught to "buy the best that you can AFFORD".Like you say, one would be forever curious to know what it was that one was missing!

Now that I have learnt a bit more, I realise that it is so fussy that most of the time I'm not actually realising the full potential since small errors are magnified more noticeably than less extreme styli.
Having said that, Peter's craftsmanship and precision is beyond reproach and I know that any deficiency is down to me.
