Man your treatment is kids gloves compared to mine.

Use a diskwasher to remove surface dust both sides.

My cleaning brushes are the original VPI vinyl ones, they are relatively stiff and I apply pressure for 4-5 rotations for both fluids.

The first cleaning fluid does't get vacuumed at all, rather I use automotive quality microfibre cloth with good pressure to mop up and deep clean .... then dinse (1 part alcohol 2 parts distilled)/brush ... then vacuum.
