Now that we're done with the silliness (hopefully), we can proceed with the discussion. Anyone who doubts that AT used the same basic generator in those carts, can look it up for themselves in the VE database. Many have inductance listed on the bottom. The 440 specs are 490mH, DC 790, impedance 3200.

If you click on the link below, the first cart is the 440MLa with response graph with the stock stylus loaded 3 different ways.

If you click on the 152LP/142LP you'll see the specs are the same and a photo of the 152 beryllium/LC stylus.

Contrary to popular belief, the ultra low inductance motors can be more problematic with a rising high end. Look at the TK9E (85mH) response.
