I usually don't play your games, after all I know nothing about turntables compared to most of you, but here -- that Connoisseur cries out "I'm fragile, and once broken replacement parts will be nearly impossible to find!" Look at the cueing lever and power lever (?) After one gin and tonic I'd probably snap both of those in half.
The Audionics looks a lot more solidly built, but who gives a @#$% about playing LPs with the dust cover on? The potential benefit is minimal.
Thomas Edison is probably spinning in his grave (at 78 rpm) seeing all this Rube Goldberg nonsense. Just my ignorant 2 cents.
