I agree with you. I used to let it all hang out at the Water Cooler, but that was a totally different forum. And I do love to argue still, but I love to learn as least as much. I like this forum for the most part, but the treatment of manufacturers bothers the shit out of me. Sometimes it seems that little men with little lives use the manufacturers participation as an opportunity to right imagined inequities, or show up the manufacturer by posturing as engineers. Telling Peter Lederman that his carts make records sound like CD's, or the recent treatment of Harry Weisfeld...it's absurd. Their contributions are invaluable, and they should be respected and encouraged to participate here.

These men are the last of the mohicans. When they're gone, they're gone. Me? I'd love to be able to correspond with Paul W. Klipsch, Jon Dahlquist or Saul Marantz. So, when I see HW or PL's participation, I make the most of it.
